Year Round & Mini Stay Programmes
With
26 destinations all available year round there are a wide variety of
programmes available. Family accommodation is an integral part of these
programmes. To ensure children are placed in a secure family environment our
host families are carefully selected and monitored by our Local Organisers.
Students will receive breakfast and evening meal with the family and will be
provided with a packed lunch. Mini Stays are organised in four
categories 1. Accommodation only
2—7
Nights; At
any of our centres around Britain we can offer a 2 - 7 night stay with
accommodation only. This programme is suitable for experienced group leaders
and groups who are familiar with travel in Britain. Although this is a basic
programme we offer free excursion planning and 24 hours support from our
local organisers. 2. Accommodation and Excursions 2—7
Nights; This
programme offers a relaxing option to group leaders as we organise a full
package, from accommodation to payment of entrances. Guided or escorted tours
can be included to ensure that group leaders can themselves enjoy the
experience as well as their pupils. 3. Themed Programmes 2—7 Nights; Key
Educational Travel offers a wide range of themed programmes linked to the
curriculum or special interest groups. Examples of themed mini stays include: · Roman Britain · King Arthur · Film / Theatre · Individual Heritage · The Vikings · Hotel & Catering · Agricultural 4. Mini Stays with Lessons 5—7 Nights. Our
'Learn English' programmes offer a balance of English lessons and excursions.
Groups attend lessons during the mornings taught by EFL teachers and then
undertake excursions or sporting activities in the afternoon. This programme
may also be Linked to produce a completed project. School Integration 5—7 Nights. In a
number of centres around Britain, we offer our "School Integration
Programme". This is a year round programme, (term time only). In
addition to family accommodation and full cultural programme we offer the
opportunity to experience life in a British school, sharing lessons and
activities with British children in their classrooms. To
enable the students to make full use of their stay in Britain we offer 3
lessons of EFL by a British teacher in the mornings and full integration in
the afternoons. Group
leaders can chose 2 - 3 day integration and excursions from an extensive
list. Our major centres offering this programme are London, York and
Brighton. However many other centres around Britain will be able to fulfil
requests. |
