Accommodation: (St Peter’s Cambridge Terrace) St
Peter’s Cambridge Terrace accommodation is 5 minutes from the main college
site (see map). En suite single rooms with study facilities. Self catering
facilities are available including equipment. Local supermarkets are within
walking distance and many restaurants offer Vegetarian menus. Cost: £49.00 per person per night. (Youth Hostel) A
new purpose built hostel opened in May 2001, next to the railway station and
10 minutes walk from St Peter’s College. Accommodation is En suite, with
2,4 or 6 bedded rooms. B & B included in price. Cost: £18.50 per person per night. (Host Families) A
limited number of carefully selected host families are available in the surrounding
areas outside the City of Oxford. Maximum travelling time to St
Peter’s College is approx. 45 minutes. The host family offers half board accommodation
either in single or shared rooms. Cost: £20.00 per person per night (local travel
costs not inc). FAQ’s How do I get to / from St Peter’s College? On
application our support team will be able offer advice on individual travel
plans from major airports and cities. Is Kosher food available? Some
Kosher products are available in local supermarkets and vegetarian foods are
served in local restaurants. Is there a local Synagogue? The
nearest Synagogue is located at 21 Richmond Road Oxford a few minutes walk
from St Peter’s College (see map). Will I be able to leave the College on the 24th
August? The
course finishes on Friday 23rd August and therefore you may depart on the
Saturday 24th August. For those who do not wish to infringe on the Sabbath
observance, they may depart on the 25th August. Please ensure that you
indicate your preference on application, as extension of the number of nights
of stay may not be available at a later date. What books and materials will I need to bring? You
will require the usual writing materials of your preference, text books will
be available directly from the Tutors. |
